Ford Truck, Diesel, and Engine Repair
Experience With Triton V8 Engines, Power Stroke Diesels, and Ford Truck Repairs.
Trucks earn their keep in Clarksville, towing trailers and running job sites, and a Ford that works for a living wears differently than one that just commutes. That’s the lens we bring to them: an F-150 or a Super Duty diesel that’s down is often a workday lost, so the priority is a straight diagnosis and getting it back on the road, not a string of guesses.
Fords also carry a few well-known trouble spots that reward knowing them ahead of time. The spark plugs on the 5.4 Triton are notorious for seizing in the head, the cam phasers rattle on cold start, and the internal water pump on some V6s can fail in a way that gets expensive if missed. None of these are mysteries once you’ve done a few, and that experience is what keeps the repair honest.

Experience With Ford Trucks and Diesel Engines
Knowledge of Triton Spark Plugs, Cam Phasers, Diesel Systems, and Ford Engine Repairs.
When a truck is part of how you earn, a day in the shop is a day of work you didn’t do, so we treat a straight diagnosis and a quick turnaround as the whole job. We’ve done enough Triton spark plug extractions, cam phaser jobs, and 6.0 Power Stroke repairs to know these platforms rather than learn them on your dime. Whether it’s a daily driver, a tow rig, or a diesel that pulls for a living, we handle the repair and get you back to using the truck for what you bought it for.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you work on my Ford diesel, or do I need the dealer?
We work on the Power Stroke diesels, including the 6.0L and its known trouble spots. You don’t need the dealer for these, and we’ll give you a firm quote before any work rather than an open-ended shop-rate estimate.
Why are the spark plugs on my 5.4 F-150 so hard to change?
The 3-valve 5.4 Triton uses a two-piece plug design that’s known to seize in the head and break during removal. It’s a job that needs patience and the right technique to avoid leaving part of a plug in the engine, which is exactly why it’s worth having done carefully.
My Focus or Fiesta shudders when it shifts. What is it?
That’s almost always the PowerShift dual-clutch automatic these came with, which is known for shuddering and hesitation. It’s a transmission issue rather than something you’re doing, and it was common enough to be the subject of a major settlement.
I hear a rattle on cold start that goes away. Should I worry?
On a lot of Ford V8s and EcoBoost engines, a brief cold-start rattle points to the cam phasers wearing. It’s worth diagnosing before it worsens, since the timing components it affects get more expensive to fix the longer it’s left.
